This is the terminal to specify where the link matters. A 140 degree field of view against the standard dish means a wider slice of sky and fewer obstruction dropouts, which is what decides whether a site works at all when the horizon is not clear.
The environmental ratings are why it goes on industrial sites: IP68 unplugged and IP69K plugged in, minus 40C to 60C, and survivable to over 270 kph. Snow melt is rated to 85mm per hour, which matters less here than the water ingress rating does.
The advanced power supply is rack mountable and takes AC or DC, with a high-power PoE port and a LAN port. DC input with a backup battery is the part worth planning around: it means the link stays up through a mains interruption, which is the whole point of having a management path in the first place.
Draw is 75 to 100W average. Worth adding to the site power budget rather than assuming it disappears into the noise, particularly on a solar or generator-backed installation.
