The terminal is the easy part. What decides whether the install works is the obstruction line, the mount and whether the kit has a wired port.
Plenty of sites that need compute have no terrestrial link worth building on: a plantation, a mine, a vessel, a construction site, a rural clinic. Satellite is what makes those sites addressable at all, and the reason to write this down as a blueprint is that the terminal is rarely what goes wrong. The install does.
Start with the terminal specification, because it is what separates a site deployment from a domestic one. The Performance Kit uses an electronic phased array with a 140 degree field of view, is rated IP69K when connected, and survives 270 kph winds. Those are the numbers that matter on a roof in a monsoon, not the headline throughput.
The mount follows from the obstruction line, and getting it wrong means a second visit. A short wall mount is correct only where the wall itself already clears the obstruction. Clearing a roof edge, a parapet or an overhang needs the long wall mount. A pitched roof or any surface that is neither vertical nor level needs the pivot mount. Survey the sky view before ordering the mount, not after the terminal is on site.
Two accessories are forgotten often enough to be worth naming. Some kits ship with no wired ethernet port at all, and without the ethernet adapter there is nothing to connect a firewall, a switch or a server to, which makes the link useless for anything beyond WiFi. And the 75ft cable is what covers the distance when the terminal has to go on a roof and the power is inside. Extending coverage across a site is a mesh node, not a second terminal.
