Unitree Go2

Go2

A 15kg quadruped for teaching, development and light inspection. The entry point, and the one most labs start with.

Overview

Fifteen kilograms and roughly 70cm long, which is the size that makes the difference: one person carries it, one person sets it up, and a lab can keep several without a storage problem.

This is the teaching and development platform. Robotics courses, computer vision projects and early work on embodied models all need a machine that can be dropped, repaired and replaced without a procurement cycle, and that is what the Go2 is for.

Three variants, and the difference matters. The base unit is a demonstration and education machine. Pro adds 4G and voice interaction. Edu is the one to buy for any real development work: full SDK access, force sensing and up to 12kg payload. Choosing base and then needing Edu is the common and expensive mistake.
